The TCS NYC Marathon is the most wonderful time of the year for NYC runners. Whether we are running the NYC Marathon or inspired to tears cheering, it is amazing because the whole city comes together to support and celebrate runners. Runstreet was psyched to be a part of the NYC Marathon weekend thrills, with a Shakeout Art Run on the Lower East Side, hosted by Whole Foods Market Bowery location and co-sponsored by Clif Bar. Our featured artist Ivanorama designed dope shirts for the run. Everyone enjoyed healthy post-run eats.

During the relaxed pace 5K, we got to see the incredible murals and street art all over NYC's colorful East Village, the Lower East Side and more. Our fleet-footed photographer Marques Jackson captured all of the action. And Custom Performance PT Kathleen came out to answer any pre-marathon questions for some of our many Art Runners preparing for the NYC Marathon the next day.

Thanks to Whole Foods Market and Clif Bar for the tasty post-run eats, and thanks to all out Art Runners, from California to Brazil, who came out for an adventurous start to NYC Marathon weekend!
