Runstreet NYC is headed by Runstreet founder Marnie Kunz and Runstreet Creative Director and Lead Photographer Marques Jackson. Runstreet Art Runs were born in Brooklyn, where Marnie and Marques teamed up to bring the first Art Run to life in Williamsburg in 2015. Marnie began Runstreet as a blog, and it has grown to include Art Run events throughout NYC, including in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx. Art Runs are NYC running events that allow runners of all levels to come together for a fun morning of art, running and community.
NYC Art Runs are unique 5K fun run events that incorpoate the best murals and street art in NYC. We showcase local artists and educate people about the beautiful art work in our neighborhoods, as well as bring people together in a fun, supportive, active community. We have done Art Run events in NYC with Deloitte, Clif Bar, EVEN Hotels, Whole Foods, the W Hotel, NYU Graduate School, Terez, Paragon Sports, the National Audubon Society, Brooklyn Running Company, Essex Market and more.
In a city filled with competitive races, Art Runs offer fun a NYC run event to encourage runners of all levels to enjoy being active and appreciate their city. To sponsor an Art Run, see our Sponsorship page.
