Celebrate Valentine's Day with Faile Art's Creative Chocolates
Brooklyn Artists Make Valentine’s Day Sweeter
By Marnie Kunz
As everyone’s non-favorite holiday — Valentine’s Day — approaches, many of us feel stuck on Groundhog Day, but, fear not — there is a way to celebrate this sappy February holiday of love with a creative twist (while also supporting local artists). Brooklyn street artist collective Faile Art has partnered with Brooklyn’s Fine & Raw artisanal chocolatiers for this most creative of Valentine’s gifts for the art and chocolate lover in your life (or yourself!👋).
The Faile X Fine and Raw Chocolate: Romance Magic is their second annual charity collab for V Day and features:
1 Sea salt chocolate bar, 70% cacao
1 Espresso chocolate bar, 70% cacao
1 Dark chocolate bar, 70% cacao
8 Classic Truffles
The Faile artwork on the packaging alone is enough to make any art lover go gaga, and add handmade, organic chocolate to the mix, and you have true love. The whole package retails for $68.50. Hurry and order now before they sell out, and also order by Feb. 5 to ensure you get it by Valentine’s Day.
There will also be a bonus for a few lucky winners — a sweet little handmade FAILE artwork inside the wrapper to tantalize and delight.
Double swoon, a portion of proceeds go to support native people, as up to $5000 of proceeds will be donated to the Native American Heritage Association. NAHA is committed to fighting hunger with emergency food supplies and basic life necessities for the Crow Creek and Pine Ridge Reservations in South Dakota.
Faile Art in Brooklyn and Paris
I have long been a fan of Faile Art’s murals and their signature post-modern, collage-style murals. From their giant girl mural in Brooklyn — '“Love Me, Love Me Not” — in Greenpoint at Transmitter Park to a stunning ballerina mural that Faile Art painted in Paris, I’ve been hooked.
Faile art is an artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller. Since its inception in 1999, FAILE has been known for a wide-ranging multimedia practice recognizable for its explorations of duality through a fragmented style of appropriation and collage.

And in the meantime, Happy G̶r̶o̶u̶n̶d̶h̶o̶g̶ Valentine’s Day!!💖
