Meet the Wolf Pack

Runstreet®️ is powered by a creative, innovative crew with diverse backgrounds, including writing, photography, journalism, therapy, non-profit and marketing experience. We come from all over and enjoy traveling the globe, meeting new people and helping others appreciate life, art and healthy living. Our HQ is based in Brooklyn but we also have a strong team in Chicago.

Marnie Kunz

Founder, Editorial & Marketing

Marnie Kunz is the founder of Runstreet. Marnie enjoys fusing her love of fitness, street art and people to create inspiring urban running adventures. Marnie has a B.A. in Creative Writing and a background in journalism, marketing and social media. Marnie grew up in St. Louis and has lived and worked in Atlanta, Chicago, Ireland and NYC. She loves to travel, eat, run and meet new people.

Marnie created Runstreet as a blog in 2010, when she became a RRCA-certified running coach. Always a social media enthusiast, Marnie's posts of street art she found while living and running all over Brooklyn inspired others to ask her where she found all the art. And the first Runstreet Art Run was born. Since then, Marnie has led hundreds of Art Runs for running communities, companies and nonprofits around the world. She has also since earned her USA Track and Field Coaching certification and trains runners in NYC.

Marnie is Head Running Coach and NYC Art Run Organizer at Runstreet.

Mariel Feigen

Mariel Feigen, or #UberMariel as we call her because she literally runs everywhere instead of taking transit, is a running superhero. Mariel is one of our Runstreet track and speed coaches, a lightning fast ultra marathon runner and Boston Marathoner. Mariel is also Member Services Manager at the amazing nonprofit Back on My Feet NYC.  Mariel grew up in Costa Rica and enjoys traveling, ultra races, art runs, books, wine and plenty of food to fuel her 50-mile forays. Mariel is not on Instagram but you will find her at most of our art runs and speed training workouts.

Grace Pisula
Chicago Lead Photographer

Grace Pisula is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer who has been shooting for Runstreet in her hometown Chicago since December 2018. Grace loves working for Runstreet and being active, but she does not call herself a "runner" per se. Rather, Grace uses her bike to navigate art runs and to get the best shots around the city.

For many years, Grace was a one-woman arthouse working as a photographer, graphic designer, cinematographer/director, animator, and editor. In 2018 she founded Gold Point Studio and is now the CEO and Director of the digital media production house. More than anything, Grace believes in the creative process as a vehicle for thoughtful collaboration, and the inherent responsibility as a creator to produce ‘good’ media.

Grace is the Technical Director and sits on the board of Chicago’s non-profit womxn filmmaking collective Women of the Now, and is a founding member of Chicago’s original living history escape rooms Escape Artistry. Grace holds a degree in Interactive Media, Photography, and Business Management from Bradley University."

Jose Marie Sanchez

Jose Maria Sanchez has been with Runstreet since we first began art runs. He tempers his lightening speed for our relaxed-pace art run expeditions and always brings a friendly greeting to new members of the Wolf Pack. Jose takes the lead and paces during speed workouts as well as spearheads Team Runstreet's race crew.

Jose began running to lose weight and, over 100 lbs later, he is racing almost every weekend and every year runs the NYC Marathon, the Chicago Marathon and St. Louis Marathon. Jose hails from Mexico, and moved to the U.S. with his brother, who is equally speedy.

Laura Rizzo
Chicago Team Leader, Marketing

The sun peeks out over the water of Lake Michigan as the skyline glistens in the distance, and eager runners awake to greet the day. Laura attributes her love of outdoor running to this picturesque Chicago lakefront path, and it continues to be her favorite place in the world to lace up her sneakers.

Laura met Runstreet experiencing an Art Run event and was immediately captivated by the perfect harmony of movement, urban art and community. She is excited to be a Chicago Art Run leader.

Laura embodies an active lifestyle including yoga, dance, skiing and just about anything that strengthens the body and fills the spirit. Among many races, she has completed two Chicago marathons, as well as her bucket-listed Napa to Sonoma half marathon alongside her husband.

After studying Marketing and French at the University of Notre Dame, she pursued an almost 10 year media agency career with Starcom before choosing to stay home and raise her two young boys.
