Chicago Team Leader and resident art expert Tom Leddy will be leading a Chicago Art Run.

Join Runstreet for a Chicago Summer Art Run 5k in colorful Logan Square! Don't miss this fun 5K to see all the new street art in Logan Square โ€” see Chicago's best street art. We'll run a curated 5K Art Run through the Logan Square neighborhood. We will guide you through this hand-selected course making brief stops at a variety of street art to learn more about the murals and capture photos.

The event kicks off and concludes at the iconic Greetings from Chicago mural at 2226 N Milwaukee Ave.

The run will be a relaxed pace, 10-minute-mile average pace, plus stops for photos and learning about the murals along the way. You will get amazing running + art photos, meet new people and reconnect with your city.

There will be a mobile bag check available.

Where do we begin and end the run?

The event kicks off and concludes at the iconic Greetings from Chicago mural at 2226 N Milwaukee Ave. We will have a mobile bag drop available.

Check-in for runners starts at 8:30 am. A mobile bag check will be available, but please keep valuables with you.

How long is the run?

5K or 3.1 miles

How fast do we run?

We go at an average pace of 10-minute miles, and also stop for photos and learning about the art along the way. We also stop for traffic lights as the streets will not be closed for this run.

I am a beginner. Can I still join?

Yes! You just have to be able to run 3.1 miles, with a few stops/breaks along the way.

Will there be a bag drop?

Yes, there will be a mobile bag check. You can drop your bag with Runstreet Chicago leader Tom Leddy. Runstreet is not responsible for any lost, broken, or misplaced items so we encourage you to leave valuables at home or keep them on you.

Are kids or dogs allowed?

Yes! Kids under 12 are free and dogs are free. Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations, have no aggression issues, and be used to running 5K in the city. Kids and teens ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

What if I cannot make the event?

You can request credit toward a future Runstreet event or you can transfer your ticket ahead of the event to another runner. The replacement runner must sign the Runstreet Event Waiver. Email hello@runstreet.com with the full name and email of the replacement runner.
